Bilal - Colombo

Decent street type food. Good plafe to have breakfast as they offer food varieties like string hoppers, noodles and rice and curry. Nothing special though.

Bilal is a tiny hole-in-the-wall joint in Kollupitiya, on Galle Road. It's almost always bustling with activity, and given the it stays open hrs) forever, it's one of those places you visit after a night of partying...or if you simple want to eat a hearty meal. Located on Galle Road, opposite Majestic City Mall I had the chicken kottu, while my friend had the shawarma roll and a samosa. Outlooks is good, observe it from opposite side of the road (Mgestic City).

Food was meh. Tables were not cleaned and the people working there were not wearing masks properly. The masala koththu i bought was way too salty and i wanted it with cheese but ended up getting scammed with milk. Lunch time koththu guy is terrible at making it, night time is average tho.

Good place to rest for a wile in the midnight for a cup of masala tea.
