Zapata's Mexican Cantina - Collinsville

Food was Luke Warm, Hot plate. Food was kinda tasteless, and the expensive margaritas were lacking as well. The food came out at different times for our party of 11. The chairs all rocked and my plate actually had residue from the prior meal. Now I know why the Gratuity was a mandated fee. Was not a good experience.

Great food, big portions, large drinks! We will be back!

Great patio. It's Mexican food. Normal prices let's face it. It's about the Margarita... and they are great!

Food was Good. Service was very slow and waitress didn't check back in after food was delivered. We were left on our own to fend for additional napkins, straws, more salsa... conveniently located right next to hotel

The flavor of the food wasn't that good. The chips and salsa tasted like it came from a jar and bagged chips from a cheap grocery store. I got steak tacos and the chef was very stingy with the meat as my tacos had hardly any meat and was largely flavorless.Our waiter was attentive at first but then he just sort of vanished and we actually had to go find him so we could pay our bill. Turns out he was moved to the bar and we were simply forgotten about, but it wasn't his fault; the restaurant clearly has him overworked. He deserves to be treated better.Overall, a very disappointing experience. We will not be returning.
