After reading a ton of reviews, we decided on this place and certainly didn’t regret it! Upon walking in just after 8pm, we were greeted and seated within seconds. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and offered us water right away. When we asked for recommendations on the menu, she helped us decide on our meals and it definitely did not disappoint! We started off by splitting a Ceasar salad which was delicious! I decided on the Chicken Parm as a main course and it is MASSIVE. Lightly breaded and very cheesy!! The pasta was also amazing!! I came in extremely hungry and walked out with leftovers! My friend took the GAMBERI FRA DIAVOLO and really enjoyed it!! Although we had read quite a few bad reviews and were a bit apprehensive about eating here, we were extremely happy with our experience and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back next time we visit Blue Mountain! Highly recommend!
For an expensive restaurant that needs reservations, the ambiance was certainly not real nice. very loud and busy. I get that this restaurant is in the Blue Mountain Village, but that shouldn 't be the excuse to jack prices up real high. The prices however were not the issue with our visit. I viewed the menu ahead of time and knew the prices. We 'll start with simple food. I ordered a pizza pretty hard to mess up a pizza right? wrong! The taste was actually good. toppings were all good and a nice overall flavour but the crust was paper thin and burnt so bad I couldn 't eat most at least half of it. I did eat the toppings and they were ok. I 've made wood fired pizza and it can be made just fine without burning it! The bill: if you pay with credit card, they gouge you an extra 2% so I decided to pay cash. for a $30 $29.66 to be precise bill yes an expensive individual pizza I handed the waiter 2 $20 dollar bills. first off, he had the nerve to ask if I wanted change back like I 'd leave a 33% tip for an overpriced burnt pizza! Then he said that he didn 't have any change and he 'd have to go and find some. Then he comes back and hands me 2 X $5 dollar bills and says I can 't find your 34 cents that I owe you. Not giving me back all my money which I would have left anyway but it 's now a principal thing and forcing me to give a $5 tip 16.5% which I might have done anyway but now its not MY choice was kinda the last straw, especially when you forced me to not use my credit card in the first place! Crappy food, crappy ambiance, crappy prices mediocre service, and crappy payment policies. A lot of strikes!
Enormous chicken Parmesan and probably one of the best I have every eaten, service was friendly but a little tardy but would definitely eat here again looking forward to it :
This was a very nice restaurant for dinner. They do not take reservations, no guarantee how busy it will be. The menu options are good, meal portions are quite generous and the prices reflect that. Also, they do have a surcharge when paying by credit card and we found that out at time of payment.
Forced tip policy is strange. They select the 18 percent tip button for you on the machine and tell you it's their policy that you have to pay it. Also they tell you the policy is they cannot split a bill for a table of 6.
