The Waffle Iron - Collierville

Unfortunately, there is no option for no stars. I had a very unpleasant experience in this restaurant. First and foremost, the waiting time to be set exceeds 45 minutes. I'm an older woman who clearly has time to be wasted, but that's so absurd! When I sat, my waiter didn't come by to take my drink order for 20 minutes. That's pretty ridiculous at this point. Then she finally came, along with an attitude. Even a little boy went around the restaurant and I think if my memory can remember someone who said his name Daniel. He looked around 13 years old and worked very hard at tables. This is child labour! You can't have that in this facility. I almost called the police, but I wanted Karma to play for them. I haven't even made an order yet, and she's coming with her attitude. I didn't order an attitude, so why do I get it?! After all, I didn't get the chance to taste the food, because I was appalled by the terrible service and only paid for my coffee and water. Don't come back soon. You have to clean up the act and respect your elders.

For the new Memphis location. A great diner called E's. Unfortunately, prices went up, quality and service went down. Can't imagine all the regulars coming in. Too bad to see E's.

We have the waffles right before they open on my Hubby?s birthday (party of two, only him and me). We were the second people. Small wait to sit in an empty restaurant (ok, I thought maybe the need to be warmed up only) but after 1.5 hours after the order to get our food... really! Did they track the chicken to put the eggs for my agitator? Then I was disappointed by the lack of splendour waffle. I mean, if you're a place called THE WAFFLE IRON that waffles are better mastered... it fell short! We will not be back... Service-Gucky and ok Food, the age took to receive.

I went there with my family. My husband got a table first. There was no one in the front. There was also one who was squaded when he went through the door, that should tell the staff that someone was there, but nobody came. He waited five minutes before someone came out of the kitchen. As soon as we ordered, it took a while to get our food, although no one else was there. Three of us ordered the cookies and Gravy, one of us ordered the cinnamon pancakes. The cookies and the severity were cold and salty. The Gravy had strange little pieces of sausage. With the biscuits and gravy you get grits and eggs cooked, but you want. The grottos were cold and had no spices at all, the eggs were cold and overboiled. The pancakes were hot and fresh. We told our waitress about our problem that she offered to renew the food for us or to have taken part of it. We decided to lower our bill. We paid $40 for 4 drinks and pancakes.

My visit to the Waffle Iron was a good one. The waitress helped us get what we need to satisfy our hunger. The kids menu was simple and met our needs. In a time where pumpkin flavor is the rave. The sweet potato pancakes were right on time! It was all that I dreamed of and more. I will be back!
