La Perla Tapatia - Collierville

La Perla Tapatia is the best Mexican restaurant in all Memphis, hands down. These people who write bad reviews don't know good, traditional Mexican food when they hit him in the face.

Hands down best Mexican food in Collierville. I moved here from Amarillo, Tx and spent a lot of time in South Texas, so satisfying Mexican food is hard to come in the Memphis region. This restaurant is the nearest authentic Mexican cuisine still found in the empire of the suburbs, with excellent Fajitas (I recommend the potato fajita), enchiladas, Tacos, Burritos and much more. This is why the grounded, local La Perla Tapatia receives a 4.0 in my book. Well done.

Really great food! I had the shrimp and they were perfectly cooked. The salsa was also freshly prepared and just the right amount when heat and taste.

The food was good. Frozen margarita was fantastic! If you get the big one, make sure you have a driver.

Love this place.. Being from San Diego then Denver, finding decent Mexican was a challenge. It you like good hot salsa bypass the table weak stuff and order a side of their tomatillo salsa it's awesome!
