Trackside Kolache Bakery

The kolaches at this restaurant are the best in town by far. Plus, they serve my favorite cinnamon rolls ever!

First of all, where I come from, we don't pronounce words the same way they do here. What about that long "eee" sound? But regardless of their pronunciation, Trackside sure delivers the goods! I tried the kolaches, a traditional Czech pastry, and found them to be filled from end to end with delicious ingredients. While some may argue that the edges are the best part, I must say I disagree. Johanne, one of the owners, may not have Czech heritage, but her love for baking and dedication to the process have led to incredible results. The dough is light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet - it truly tastes like a dream! And the fillings, oh my goodness, they are divine, especially the poppy seed filling. The aroma alone takes me back to my grandmother's kitchen. Definitely worth a visit, just make sure to come early as they tend to sell out quickly.

We arrived late so we couldn't try everything on the menu, but the dishes we did try were excellent! The broth for the rolls was absolutely perfect!

The kolaches at this restaurant are incredible. They are always freshly baked and are hands down the best in town. Make sure to arrive early to have the widest selection available.
