Tad's Louisiana Cooking- Katy

We were excited to try this place and sadly we won’t be back. We got sat quickly, and waited for them to bring us a kid’s menu. 10 mins pass before we even see our waitress, so we ordered drinks and told her we were waiting on a kid’s menu. We get our drinks, still waiting on the kids menu. Another 10 mins and she comes back to ask if we want an appetizer. We order one, ask AGAIN about the menu and get told she’s bringing it right away. My husband is probably the most patient man when it comes to restaurants and I am a restaurant manager, so this whole entire experience was unacceptable. I paid for our drinks and we left. Never again will we even attempt going back.

Vegetarian options: Well, there is good food for people, who don't eat meat or something period.Dietary restrictions: And If you are on a diet. They have good and healthy food to choose and eat.Parking: Tads College Station, TX has pretty decent parking. Always able to find a place to park.

The service was awful. It began with the attitude on the phone before we even went in. From the person seating us to the very rude and unprofessional bartender Madi who actually spent a couple of minutes arguing with us about our drink being made incorrectly twice. (Mixed drink served as a shot with zero ice) Seems there are other reviews with complaints about this particular server. The manager rude and unprofessional accused us of being rude for returning the drink to the bar and simply stating that the drink was wrong. Have never encountered such a thing. Food was Ok but definitely not worth enduring the terrible service, and overpriced. Save your money and go somewhere they value their customers. Will stick to Razzoo's or Walk On's in the future. In response to Regan's reply, this did not happen last night. I spent some time deciding if I should post the review.

Man dis is some of dat good food and drink. The appetizer specials are best deal in town and menu items da all got some tasty. Gotta luv me some Tad's.

The food was freezing cold, the avocado was brown and mushy, i didn’t get my sauces on the side, and it was just way too expensive for how mediocre the food was in my personal opinion.
