Lots of choice on the Mediterranean style menu. Perhaps a little bit expensive. Delicious coffee. Nice view of the olive farm. The lady who is always here is friendly and helpful.
Very rough drive up to cafe, flustered service even though it was not busy, coffee got dismissively put down on table and waiter was gone in a flash. Not a good start and then the coffee looked overly strong, which it was. A lack of care in all respects is the hallmark of this cafe. Lovely view is the only redeeming feature.
Really poor and slow service. You'd also think they are known for their shakshukas. We waited long for it and it was just disappointing. For what you pay, it is tiny and poorly presented. Would not be back unfortunately. Also who charges a dollar for a tiny bit of butter!
We stopped here for a late lunch on our way home to Sydney yesterday and just got in before the kitchen closed. We had thought this place was a bakery but the menu is more restaurant like with a heavy leaning towards Israeli style food (baked eggs and the like) which was all much heavier than I wanted. I did spy some pastries in the pie warmer and had a spinach feta Filo that I had with salad and my husband had a beef bean pie made with a filo pastry base. My food was tasty and I liked the sprinkling of dukka on the salad. There is a little shop offering cookies, spreads, herbs, olive oils and vinegars. We bought some honey and a pomegranate balsamic. The outlook of the cafe is nice over the olive groves. They really need to fix their driveway it was so derelict that we thought the place was actually no longer open to the public as we navigated all the ditches and potholes.
Barista was extremely slow. Not paying attention. A friendly welcome however the service was very slow. Cute location and a lovely view. Very peaceful.
