I looked around and we were the only ones there. about our lunch time came. 6 more. it wasn't overcrowded. at all. some of us went to order our lunch and were told that the waitress will come soon. a few of us ordered and wanted to pay for their meals. we said there was no possibility that we could pay the bill for each meal separately/split. a person had to pay and we had to pay for this person. none of us was related, some of us wanted to pay cash, others by card. the waitress was very short and said there was no possibility to pay for our meals separately, it was not a policy and this group was too big. some of our 7 groups were ready to go at this point. the garlic bread was free from garlic like the truffle bread. the brot itself was often baked and beautiful. the pork was delicious with lovely crisp. the wild boar ties were just okay. the wild boar was hard. one of our group sent the garlic bread back and stated that there was no garlic. it came when we were just gone. all in all it has left an acidic taste in our mouth.
We have booked a table for lunch on the phone, about 2 1/2 weeks before celebrating my men 60th birthday and received a confirmation text message. we met family of canberra and were looking forward to a special meal. Imagine our disappointment when we were...considered and recommended that we were booked in a wine tasting (they apparently had pressed the wrong button) and there were no seats inside. they wanted to put us outside on a windy, showering day that would not have been pleasant. there was no real excuse and we were forced to feel like we were an inconvenience. it was a very humiliating experience and we will not return. when they decide to book a table for lunch, I strongly suggest that they call to confirm that the table was actually booked to avoid their own disappointment and embarrassment. by canberra
Beautiful meal (trüffelbrot, schweineglocke, chili quid and lamb, amazing wein (all of them- do the tasting! and great staff (the new aprons love)
We had the truffle bread (yes), I decided on two escape instead of escape and that was more than enough, the Korean bun was nice, salat fresh, the chilli squid was very good. Spouse had the pork belly bite (the sauce was really good), and the lambhead was excellent with a huge salat. generous in portions. riesling and prosecco sparkle both very good and only the thing for a summer day. great view over the vines sitting outside. dog-friendly brought water and immaculate from our attentiveness seeking animals.
We have been going to Lerida for years (although hadn’t been since COVID) and has always been great, however our experience was a bit average. The food was not nearly as good as it used to, the wait staff was still great and friendly though....However after lunch, we paid and asked if we can do a tasting, they said we could and someone would be with us shortly. We couldn’t stay at the table as it was booked, so we stood there for 15mins near the tasting area, and no one even bothered to speak to us. We waited and try and try and speak to another person and they didn’t acknowledge again. So we just walked out. It’s a shame, and the only thing that made it better is that we went to 2 other wineries in the afternoon who actually wanted to serve us a tasting and let us buy wine! I really hope it reverts back to it’s great experience.
