Genuine trattoria with typical dishes and not, with beautiful view from the terrace. a lunch Saturday half way, with full menu at 15 euros! excellent quality, very crowded: Better book.
Chosen to celebrate a birthday outside the city. I didn't know him, and I trusted reviews. I must say that it deserves: in the meantime the beautiful terrace, embellished by a giant chestnut, friendly and helpful staff. having gone Saturday to lunch we tried the tourist menu: in my opinion it has nothing to do with the tourist menus to which we get used to in the holiday places. the quality and variety of food is good and salty dishes are served at a great price. Moreover, for those with children, there is a small adjacent playground. another aspect not to be underestimated in summer dog periods, is the coolest temperature. is a family run trattoria so no frills but good company!
The local is located in a very interesting location, the view is intense and, when the weather conditions allow it, wide to be lost on the province meneghina. the menu takes place with a planning of strong home footprint. with the same method the dishes have a strong connotation ruspante; you can perceive a lot of the housewife, a dexterity that does not exceed in elements of professional scissors, but are kept in the perimeter of the kitchen of the grandmother or a good and well-determined mother. improves the cooking of the first, not that they are shaken (at least rice) but a fraction of minute or a unit of its own, they would have left it full so as not to lose in the goto of its ingredients. on the polenta the excessive salt patrimony left a vacuum under the importance of the tomino. as to the desserts, selected those of their own production, they have given definitive confirmation that the Bellavista is not the super-star chef, a selection of contrasting flavors to give delirio to the gothic papillae, nor of the courses presented with touches from extensive painters, nothing of all this. at the Bellavista there is an honest, coherent and sincere presentation of genuine flavors, an environment that recalls so much those corners of the country where the best memories of lunches/cenes with friends/family.
The trattoria is very successful for its simplicity. I think the outlines are rich too. This was a work menu except dessert. They also have an open-air playground with a nice lawn. children can alternate lunch and play. we had a great time. wide choice of first and second dishes.
