Ella's Cafe E Lounge - COLICO

A small family run restaurant, very friendly and very good English. Lovely wines (especially the Prosecco) and the food was beautiful (piadine and Parma ham with melon) The setting was magnificent with umbrellas above and a lovely cool breeze (much needed) Prices very reasonable , a real local spot!

After our trip to the castle we stopped off on the front and chanced into Ella's. Her English was poor (but why should I expect it otherwise? but her friendliness allowed us to order some food and drinks by pointing at the menu! Brilliant. There is seating outside as well as inside. The food was typical snack bar and the drinks were as you would expect. Ella was very attentive and the price was cheap for a lake front café. I always find that if the locals use places then the value is good. There was a mixture of tourists and locals here.
