The waitress seemed uncertain on how to handle the situation. When we asked for something to clean the table, she handed us a towel that was completely inadequate for the mess. After requesting more, she finally brought us a handful of napkins. We also had to ask someone else to clean up the spilled drink on the floor. A staff member came with a mop, but he didn't seem too happy about it. To add to our frustration, an 18% gratuity was automatically added to our bill, which I understand for larger parties, but it felt excessive for a group of four adults and three children under six. I've seen spills handled more gracefully at other restaurants, where waitstaff are more proactive in assisting. Here, it felt like they were somewhat hesitant and reluctant to help. We had to repeatedly signal to the waitress when we needed something, and not once did they offer to refill our drinks. There are plenty of pizza places out there, and after this experience, we probably won't be coming back.
