The Old Courthouse - Coleraine

The interior decor of this restaurant is almost worth visiting just for that alone. True to its name, it is located in an old courthouse with many original architectural features and is family-friendly. Although there are steps at the front, it is not clear if there is disability access. The service was quick and the food was delicious. The kids enjoyed their meals and my wife's curry was particularly enjoyable. They serve Coca Cola in glass bottles, which is a nice touch, and the pricing is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I had a wonderful time sitting outside with friends, enjoying cocktails at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and provided us with a personalized cocktail menu. The drinks were delicious and easy to enjoy. I am looking forward to coming back again soon.

The first time I went there I found a hair in my food that I blamed for putting there for the staff and we also had to go to the bar to order our food, which, in a restaurant that has the staff of the bar and the waiters seems extremely uncomfortable. Then we went again today with a family of 4, and a waiter arrived to take our order, (we did not expect) including the snacks and main dishes. To our surprise, we already started asking him just nodded and didn't write anything. Neither did we wonder about the sides or said the special chefs and after completing all the orders that he simply said well and were letting them assume he was going to try to remember everything. Without surprise, the whole order was completely wrong and the steaks, which were meant to be of size made beyond well done almost rubber and without flavor. The chefs seem to have less trained and the staff continued to sit around on the tables eating or talking on their phones and seemed completely unmotivated and alienated there.

We didn't have a meal, but stopped by for drinks on a weeknight. The service was friendly, the selection of draft beers was impressive, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We have no complaints at all.

Went here last night with my partner and my son,walked in asked at the bar about ordering,the waitress just told us to order at the bar when we're ready,we walked upstairs got settled in and looked at the menu,then the waitress came running over and asked us to move downstairs as upstairs was closed!! we ended up leaving over the heads of this and went to pizza pom,I did not want my son sitting in among all the drinkers downstairs,what harm were we doing by sitting upstairs in a quiet area? Staff too lazy maybe to carry up our food? Inside could do with a power wash,even my menu was dirty!!
