It's a nice place. The staff are really nice. I really like the onion rings and burgers. That's the only thing I get when I go there . I haven't tried other things on the menu yet. I know if their burgers are good, then all the rest should be good as well. This is a really cute location, and everyone is friendly. The food is made to order and fresh, so being patient is key. They aren't slow. They just don't take shortcuts to prepare your food. Ice cream come is very tall here. If you're not looking for a 4+ inch cone, let them know that when you order. The vanilla ice cream tasted amazing! Cindy and discovered The Hop on the 90's when she would do weekend horseback trail rides out of Coldspring. It is a classic 50's hamburger joint with great food and wonderful service. They used to have one in Magnolia, just as good, but for some reason it closed around 15 years ago.
