We were married in autumn 2020 in the Great Blue Heron and that was no easy time for everything, but you would never know! Chrissy and Nic were absolutely fabulous from the day we booked and through the entire wedding experience. They recently redesigned the banquet room, making it a real hidden jewel. The food was fabulous, we got endless compliments, how smooth the whole day was.

The Great Blue Heron has accompanied my wedding at The Barn on Stoney Hills. We have the semi-plated build your own pasta bar option, which really worked well the salads, bread and water carafes were at the tables and then the guests went through a buffet line for their main meal. Food was good and everyone seemed to enjoy it. I especially liked the salad strawberry fields and their bread with whipped butter is also very good. They also did our dessert table, which was a range of brownies and bars. I only had a brownie himself who was delicious! but I heard good things about the bars. They also did our appetizers and offered a coffee bar that was great! Paul, the catering manager, is very professional and easy to work. He did a great job and knows what he does and takes great pride on his work. I had no concerns about the food during my wedding day, I couldn't even think about it, knew that Paul had it under control. I also really liked that they served the family style of the main table, so we didn't have to go through the buffet line. All employees were very friendly and professional.
