Yak and Yeti Colchester

Was really lovely food. Don't go much on the outside but inside was lovely. We had the place to ourselves

We were a party of 6 and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent and friendly, but I have dropped a star overall due to an issue with the music. There appeared to be two soundtracks playing at the same time; for example at one point we were hearing Justin Bieber and Elaine Page at the same time disconcerting to say the least. Nobody else seemed aware of the problem and I noticed that above our table there was at least one hole in the roof where it looked as if a down lighter had been removed and that perhaps somewhere else in the building the second track was being played and because of the hole we were hearing both! Eventually the music was turned off which improved things immeasurably.

The food was enjoyable, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was surprisingly good for a large venue on a Friday night.

Booking was simple, the staff were polite and friendly. We didn't feel rushed and the menu offered a good variety of options. The restaurant was well-kept and clean. But best of all, the food was fantastic!

You can expect exceptional service and incredible food at a great value. Dining here will not disappoint as the flavors and quality of the food will have you raving about this place to all your friends and family.
