Bambu Vietnamese - Colchester

What a lovely restaurant! The food and service are both outstanding. My partner and I recently moved away from the area, but we couldn't resist driving to Colchester just for a meal at Bambu. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were welcomed warmly and never felt rushed, despite the busy atmosphere. The vegetarian spring rolls are amazing! My partner always orders the chicken pho, while I consistently go for the seafood curry, both bursting with flavor and generously portioned. The best part is that the prices are very reasonable—not a budget-breaker at all! The lovely owners even treated us to two complimentary desserts as a "Happy New Year's" gesture, which was a wonderful surprise! We will definitely make a trip to Colchester whenever we head down to visit my family in Norfolk; this restaurant is absolutely worth it, and we already miss it so much!

This restaurant has a super friendly atmosphere and a wonderful kitchen. The parking can be a bit inconvenient, but we enjoyed our time there, especially with the playful cats around. The food was superb, and I can confidently say that we will definitely return; this place has quickly become one of our new favorite dining spots!

This is a beautiful place to dine, truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend the egg noodles and the lemongrass chicken!
