Wendy's - Colchester

This Wendy's is generally my favorite spot for meals. There's a McDonald's right across the street, and while I appreciate their $1 any size soda and the $2 breakfast deal, I usually choose Wendy's instead. The staff has typically been very friendly and has always gotten my orders right. However, I noticed about four and a half months ago that there were some changes in personnel, and the service seemed to decline a bit. I wondered if they had lost their manager or something similar. I've experienced a few occasions where items were missing from my order, and sometimes the food didn’t seem as fresh as usual. Moreover, I have to mention that their breakfast sandwiches are the smallest I've ever encountered. While I appreciate the "buy a breakfast sandwich, get a free drink" deal, I did notice that the prices of the sandwiches were intentionally omitted, and they have doubled since my last visit. That's quite a shock!

I've visited quite a few Wendy's locations, but this one is definitely one of my favorites. The staff is incredibly friendly. This time, I ordered a Triple David, and it was an absolute delight. It was packed with flavor, and the cheese was fantastic. I have to admit, I was a bit hungry, but the aroma from the grill as I stepped out of my car made me crave that Triple David even more. It was so ridiculously delicious that I almost ordered a second one!

This Wendy's location stands out as the best I've visited in a long time. The staff were kind, patient, and understanding. The restaurant was clean, and the food was really delicious.

Incredibly helpful staff! I received lemons for my unsweetened iced tea! Dunkun donuts no longer offers lemons for a $3.50 iced tea. Go Wendy's!!!
