O Trovador Lda - Coimbra

A nice little restaurant within walking distance of the botanical garden and the university. The burrito was very good. We found the dessert mediocre. The quesadilla and nachos were tasty, but quite pricey for what you get. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. Cash only. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-30

Tucked away in the top of a narrow street it's a nice spot for students to grab a bite. It's all vegan and they cook in an open kitchen. We tried a tofu bowl with the peanut sauce that lacked seasoning. And the lentil burrito that lacked flavour and other ingredients (too many lentils). The staff was super nice, but a bit slow.

Me and some Friends picked a lot of dishes to get a kind of Tapas Feeling. It was cheap, very fresh and incredibly tasty! I love it!

€7 for a filling lunch. Homemade tortillas!!
