Kovai Biriyani - Coimbatore

Being an ardent Biryani Lover, it was obvious that I had to visit all the famous haunts in Coimbatore. Kovai Biryani Hotel was recommended to me by a bunch of people and I headed for lunch here with my folks.<br/ <br/ Please don't expect a fancy ambience. Food is all that matters in a place like this one. The service is prompt. We sat in the AC section of the restaurant which has more of a family crowd.<br/ <br/ We ordered for Mutton Biryani as their Chicken Biryani wasn't ready (bummer). We also tried their Chilly Chicken and Pepper Chicken. I preferred the former over the latter.<br/ The rice was served piping hot and it tasted delicious. A decent portion that would suffice for one person. I was actually shocked that I finished it (considering I have a small appetite). Or maybe I had worked up an appetite for it.<br/ <br/ So, should you be visiting this place?<br/ The answer would be a resounding yes!
