MaMaGoto - Coffs Harbour

The restaurant offers simple and fresh sushi that is always delicious. The miso soup is also very tasty and pairs well with the sushi. The prices are reasonable and the location is convenient. Just make sure not to arrive too early or too late, as the sushi may not be ready or already gone.

The service is very friendly and the Japanese cuisine is fantastic. The bun coffee is always a winner. Be sure to try the carrot cake or yuzu slices for a sweet treat.

The staff at Mamagoto was friendly and helpful, offering menu suggestions and explaining the dishes. The food was freshly prepared and cooked to order, so there was a short wait, but it was definitely worth it. We tried the Bento box and some sushi, which were both delicious and fresh. The prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and we left feeling satisfied. Mamagoto is located in a kiosk in the shopping center, allowing for a pleasant dining experience at outdoor tables when the weather is nice. In case of bad weather, they recommend takeout instead.

I went with my friend to lunch, we both got Bento box and the ice toy first we thought that this is not enough food for us, but we end up with not finished all food. so full and eating is so...nice and the prices are super cheap.

The sushi was a bit overpriced considering the restaurant is just an outdoor kiosk in the shopping plaza. I had a chicken teriyaki bento, and the chicken was more like a casserole in a creamy sauce not like the standard pan fried teriyaki. The...sushi portion in the sushi bento was quite small but tasted fine. There are a few tables provided to sit at (spaced out due to covid) and I wiped down one to sit at it was black and filthy. Staff here need to clean the tables in between customers.
