Puritan Backroom - Coffee County

I absolutely love the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The place itself is very pretty and elegant. I went there for my great aunt 70th birthday. It was absolutely amazing there's a bar there and everything. I hope you have fun here too! Kid-friendliness: They have a lot of kid friendly activities, I went there for my great aunts birthday party. You can dance to the music, and there's a excellent DJ there.

I've heard rave reviews from others, so I decided to give it a try. I got the traditional chicken tenders. I found the chicken tenders good, but sweeter than expected. I did like how they were really lightly breaded. The sweetness of them kind of thew me off.

My husband and I came in for an early lunch. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue with the cheese sauce. It came out with a brown gravy. I told the waitress that isn't the way I ordered it. The waitress tried to persuade me to eat it the way it was. I told her that I don't like gravy. She brought out my husband's food at that time also. He ate so his food wouldn't be cold. When she returned with my food I got more mashed potatoes.

So the restaurant is in the back not the building and there is an ice cream shop and take out in the front. This place was recommended for their chicken tenders. I ordered the dinner portion whoch came with a lot of extras. One of the extras was onion rings most places do an ok job but dang if these home made ones didn't rock! I also had corn chowder another homerun there. The best part was the tenders. These aren't the tenders that most restaurants insult theor customers with. No these were hand breaded and fresh. And a great portion. They were seasoned and they were off the chain. My wife had the apptizers tenders different flavors big portion and killer as well. I want to go back!

The chicken tender was invented here what more do you need to know? The quality is always top notch, the people are kind, and the Greek Salad is our favorite in the area. Puritan is a landmark for good reason.
