Bakery By The Lake At Parkside

On Friday morning, I enjoyed freshly made pizzas right from the window for breakfast. The margherita pizza was fantastic, topped with fresh herbs and drizzled with balsamic. I also had the best blueberry muffin I've ever tasted, along with a berry scone and a brownie bar. Yes, this was our order at 9 am. Thank you, CDA!

This is the best sourdough pizza I've ever tasted! The crust was infused with oil and spices, making it light, fresh, and packed with flavor. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the customer service was exceptional! The huckleberry cupcake was also a highlight for me. It's definitely the top spot in town for food and sweet treats. As for dietary needs, there are plenty of vegetarian options! Plus, there are lots of kid-friendly choices for little ones to eat and drink.

I also got a blueberry cupcake, but unfortunately, I only had one of those. I was so full from the croissants and feeling a bit guilty about indulging in two of them that I saved the cupcake until I got back to Washington. It turned out to be the best cupcake I’ve ever had! If it weren’t almost five hours away, I’d definitely be a regular here. As for parking, we arrived at 7 AM and found a spot right out front. The kid-friendliness of the place was impressive too; they had various options for kids who eat food, and there was a super cool park with a huge playground nearby.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! They have a fantastic variety of French pastries. The coffee is exceptional too. They offer healthy salads and other lunch options. On top of that, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful!

There are both indoor and outdoor seating options available. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's conveniently located across the street from the library. This is a spot you definitely don’t want to miss!
