Tony's On The Lake - Coeur D' Alene

One of the best restaurants in CDA. Beautiful views and always EXCELLENT service. We had the Amazing mozzarella appetizer with fresh bread. Pastas are always fresh and delicious. Favorite is Short rib. Only negative comment the chicken in the Marsala was a little dry.

What has brought us back to Tony's over the years, as we live 30 miles away, is the service and quality of food. The longevity of the employees tells a lot about management and how they get treated. Cudos to Jack and the bartending team and of course Katie the professional server who tells us wherever we sit it's her section.

It was our first time going at Tony's on the Lake. We got there 30 min early and they already had our table ready for us. We sat out side with a wonderful view, there was a sign on our table telling us Happy Anniversary. Our waiter was new believe his name was David. He did an amazing job. very friendly and helpful when we asked questions. checked on us and made sure we had a good experience. The food was oh so good. We got the Pizzaiola and the 7oz baseball Sirloin, so so good. We will definitely be back and will tell people to go here. You will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit to this restaurant. We were not happy with a poorly washed plate with dried pieces of someone's food, some familiar dishes tasted quite strange, part of the order was not fulfilled, perhaps the staff forgot or wanted us to leave quickly. Wasted time and money.

Food was good but not great. Views and drinks were spectacular. Highway noise is pretty intense on the patio. Overall a great experience but I think it's more about the views and being able to pull up via boat. Ok overall would recommend coming here!
