Contribuiți la feedbackI visited this restaurant for dinner based on a friend's recommendation, and while the place is incredible—especially the historic bar—our overall experience fell short. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which includes a choice of soup or salad from the buffet. It took some time to get my salad because there were many people ahead of me. Just as I was halfway through my salad, the server informed me that they were out of chicken fried steak. I then decided to order the pork chop dinner instead. Meanwhile, my fiancé made several trips to the buffet and was nearly finished eating while I was still waiting for my meal. Eventually, I asked the server to cancel my order, and she was very apologetic. After that, we tried to get a drink at the famous bar, but we sat there for about five minutes before someone told us that we needed to order from the other bar and bring our drinks back. It would be really helpful to have a sign indicating this so that patrons are aware.
I had heard some positive things about this restaurant, so I decided to check it out for myself. After being seated, I never encountered a waitress. No coffee, water, or any drinks were offered. We waited for 22 minutes without any service. It was frustrating to watch our waitress take orders from two other tables that had been seated after my wife and I. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. This feedback is solely about the restaurant's service.
What an amazing experience rife with history. If you’re visiting Cody there is no way you can pass this center piece up. We had a wonderful dining experience with some delicious Prime Rib. The buffet is a must with their variety of wonderful gourmet selections. As for the rooms themselves I can not say because we didn’t stay there.Nearby activities: There is a shootout show, free of charge, directly outside the hotel that begins at 6:00 everyday save for Sundays. Don’t miss it!
Neat historical experience. Buffalo Bill did it right back in his day with this hotel. Hotel is like walking back in time for sure. Rooms are named and easy access. Smoke smell is strong in rooms and very dated. Bathrooms are ok. Parking was free and plenty available.
Had a very good steak dinner! Steak was cooked perfectly, good mashed potatoes and brown gravy (off the a la carte menu). Service was a bit slow, but good especially given how busy they were. The “Queen Victoria” bar was impressive!
