Without hesitation, I can say that this Hawaiian pizza was the worst I've ever tried. (This includes frozen Totinos pizzas that you buy in the frozen food department of grocery stores). The Screaming Sicilian Pizza sells at my local WalMart at 1/3 of the price of this pizza is (unbelievable) better. The crust and sauce of this pizza were unnoticed. But the strange combination of cheese made it almost unusable. The dolls of cheese (appearing on the photos as a whipped cream) were visually appealing, but tasting. The taste and texture of this cheese destroyed the pizza. It's the first time in my 61-year-old life that I never took my unused pizza at home in a cardboard box. To make it pale, I removed most cheeses. Absolutely terrible. Payton, my server was very sweet and offered me a discount. I didn't ask. Maybe their other pizzas are better, I just come to this special one. That was my first visit to Pizza Vola. My challenge for the restaurant is that the owner/chef/manager prepare this pizza and eat a slice and honestly say it is worthy to return to the menu in its current configuration.
Had a late lunch today and it was great! Olivia our waitress was excellent with service and personal conversations. The food is fabulous and portions are generous! We travel an hour and it is worth it! Olivia?s shared her mom's journey with her breast cancer (I'm just going this myself) and was so friendly with encouraging words and a hug too. She's a jewel! We're coming back! Images are margarita pizza personal size and a small Italian Stromboli. Both delicious!!!
Gluten-free pizza available in Cocoa Beach is very difficult to find. I'm not impressed for $64. We have a GF pizza with roasted (big pieces of barely cooked) paprika, gum-like canned mushrooms, five razors thin slices of sausage. hardly a sauce and zero taste. The Mega-Fries were soggy, the bacon was undercooked and gummy, and somehow they were super salty. The best I can say about her is that they come with a big cup of ranch. Still try to understand what is about them mega because it is not the portion size. We stay in an apartment where there was an ad in her book said when we received the ad we would get an order of 6 garlic rolls free. Mentioned the ad on my order, no roles. No cutlery, napkins, parmesan cheese or paprika. The Calamari was also soggy and barely cooked. My son enjoyed his pizza, but he's a teenage boy to suspect his standards. If you need to eat gluten-free pizza in Cocoa Beach, save yourself some money, get a 2-pack shaker gluten-free pizza crust from Wal-Mart and make your own.
We went the delivery route and as a rule this is a compromise in quality. That wasn't the case. Everything was delicious, fresh and plated as if they knew I'd take pictures. Very recommended and next time will we go again? in the city.
A hearty italian meal with friendly staff and very large sized entrees. I had the chicken parmigiana and took half home after being completely stuffed with a salad and thick garlic bread. My 11 yr old son ordered the wings and declared them the best he has ever had. Two for one drafts. All of us left happy.
