CJ's Tap and Grill - Cobourg

The food at this restaurant is a great deal, especially the lunchtime menu. The portion sizes are just right, leaving us all feeling satisfied without feeling too full. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be dining here again the next time I am in the area.

I had a pleasant lunch experience at CJ's in Cobourg, Ontario. The crowd was nice, they had a decent selection of beers, the food was okay, and the service was attentive. Despite not being my initial choice, a client sent me there and I enjoyed my time in the nice town. I enjoy traveling to small towns in Ontario as they are different from rural America. I always appreciate the warm hospitality and friendly welcome from the farming community in Canada. I encourage other Yelpers to explore rural Canada this summer and see what it has to offer. At CJ's, they had a $5 special on Canadian or Coors Light, but as a beer snob, I prefer higher quality drinks. Unfortunately, they did not have any Belgian beers, so I settled for a Creemore. The Reuben sandwich I had for lunch was a bit too salty for my taste, and the side salad was not impressive. However, overall, it was a decent meal and I would consider going back to CJ's if I was in the area again. The friendly staff and good experience make it worth a visit. I give CJ's 3.5 stars. I went to this restaurant with a friend on a quiet Thursday night. The waitress was not very attentive and only came back to us when it was time to pay the bill. The food was average.

Had dinner here with a co worker last night, he had the steak sandwich and I had the combo steak/chicken fajitas. Both dishes were excellent! They have a great selection of brews including my favorite Canadian brew, Creemore Springs lager. Plenty of large TVs throughout to catch a game. Katina, our bartender, was super friendly and attentive to our dining experience. Clean, comfortable, and considerate. I would definitely recommend visiting CJ's Tap Grill for a business casual and tasty dining experience.

We had been there for a late dinner und the kitchen was open. He had a good starter Dip with bread) und very very good beer. For the main Courses we had two burgers there were that great Thx for the good und very delicios meal
