Merridale is one of our favorite places in Cowichan Valley, a place where we always visit family and friends visiting Vancouver Island. Who knew there were so many varieties of local cedars and unique cocktails that can be made by them? The menu is limited, but everything is delicious and affordable. Our favorites are pizzas, sandwiches and fruitcakes. And there are always daily specialties.

Hello all great service, very helpful, flavors are yum. Delicious steak and mushroom cakes. Very nice full and dense cranberry sourdough bread. Enjoy the flights; New to old, and Brandy. Beautiful aromas all around. Great mixes! Will go back.

During a recent visit to Merridale for a meal with friends, we experienced some of the best service we've had all year. The staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. The food was excellent, as always. We chose Merridale for our gathering because we have always found the service and food to be consistently outstanding, which is hard to find elsewhere. The ambience and Christmas atmosphere added to the positive and memorable evening.
