Kardamomuss Cobán

Great food all with cardamomus flavored. Very accessible in the City of Cobán.

To make a long story short, we (accidentally) broke a vase and the staff decided to focus on the broken vase vs servicing a large group. We paid the vase and skipped dinner. In my opinion, this is a reflection of the customer is NOT always first!

Solid meal and great place to buy other local processed products like coffee and jams.

Wow, great food, great service. If you like cardamom you have to come here. If you don't, you still should. I had what was essentially a liquado with alcohol and it was so delicious, along with the fish with platanos which was great. One of my daughters loved her soup (I can't remember the name but it's a traditional Guatemalan one), the other wasn't a huge fan of the lasagna but not because it wasn't good, but it wasn't what she expected. The best thing is that the prices were very reasonable. Not cheap, but in comparison to some of the other more expensive restaurants in Guatemala that charge a lot but don't give you much in return, it was an excellent value.

Amazing food, excellent service, reasonable prices, beautiful atmosphere with jazz style soft music. This place has it all. Best restaurant I have been to in Guatemala.
