Harty’s The Junction - Coatbridge

After reading online reviews and browsing their menu, which highlighted gluten-free options, I was looking forward to dining at this restaurant for an event. To ensure my safety, I called to inquire about shared fryers, prep areas, and their practices to minimize cross-contamination. The staff responded after speaking with the chef and informed me that only pasta dishes could be prepared completely gluten-free. I found this disappointing and decided against eating there due to what I perceived as misleading advertising and a lack of consideration for individuals with celiac disease. I would only recommend this place for those with mild gluten intolerances.

I had dinner last night and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the atmosphere was charming. I was pleasantly surprised by how unique the place is. I tried a few cocktails and highly recommend the strawberry daiquiri—it’s the best I’ve had, and only £4.95, which is definitely worth it. I will definitely be returning more often. Keep up the great work and maintain those high standards!

I visited on the opening night, and it was genuinely fantastic. The food was excellent, and the staff were wonderful. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really exceptional. I can't wait to go back!

We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant with our group of nine ladies for dinner, celebrating three birthdays and enjoying a gathering of sisters and friends. The staff was warm, friendly, and very attentive throughout our meal. Although there was a slight delay between the starters and main courses, everything arrived at once and was beautifully cooked and presented. We truly couldn’t fault the food; they aimed to coordinate the timing so that all our main dishes came out together, which was quite a feat considering we ordered a variety of different meals. The prices were very reasonable, and we felt genuinely welcomed. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I had the mixed pakora and chicken tikka with South Indian garlic chili for an extra kick—it was absolutely amazing! And I can’t forget to mention the garlic naan, which was delicious. I couldn’t believe I had room for dessert, but I just had to try the warm caramel shortcake with ice cream, although I unfortunately couldn’t finish it. I paired my meal with a lovely bottle of South African Sauvignon Blanc. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Needless to say, I’m definitely a regular here! I’m already looking forward to my next visit. By the way, I was here just the week before and enjoyed a fantastic meal with a variety of gins and beautiful cocktails!
