Sonic Drive-in - COARSEGOLD

I ordered two different Sonic Blasts—one with peanut butter and one without, since my son has a peanut allergy. While I was enjoying my non-peanut butter Blast, I found several large chunks of Reese's in it. It seems they don't clean the mixer between shakes, which can be a serious concern for those with allergies.

The staff at this Sonic are consistently friendly, and the food always tastes fresh. While the drive-thru wait times could use some improvement, a bit of a wait is worth it for freshly prepared food.

I was charged an extra dollar for choosing diet soda over regular in my limeade. When I inquired about the charge, the unfriendly girl at the window simply said, "Have a nice day," smiled, and then shut the window. We won't be returning to this establishment. The food is unpleasant as well—always cold and unappetizing.

I had high hopes for this place, but it turned out to be the worst fast food experience I've had in years. The portions were extremely small and the prices were outrageous—$25 for two people and we were still hungry! And that was without drinks! My wife and I are average-sized and usually feel satisfied with a burger and fries or onion rings. We wanted to try the 'poppers' too, but they tasted awful and the breading was terrible. Four poppers cost around $5, which is just not worth it. I won't be returning to Sonic, either here or anywhere else. Since I often stop by to fill up my gas tank, I've noticed that the number of customers has decreased significantly since they opened. I'm definitely not the only one feeling let down.

The staff who helped me during my visit were definitely the highlight of my experience. They were friendly and quickly prepared my order. I wish other locations could match this one! It's fairly new, and while I didn't see any drive-up stands, there is a drive-thru and an inside counter located within the gas station. The food and pricing were just as I expected. The location is easy to reach, with plenty of parking available. I will definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area. The parking, entrance, and counter are all accessible as well.
