Denny's - Coalinga

I love the manager jasmine here at the denny’s in kohleinga she is so beautifully watching my twins while I eat, I never had such a care in a restaurant she took time from her day to make sure that I had a nice breakfast and my server richard was amazingly definitiw back

Great customer service from Usiel. He was really attentive with us and heard us speaking in Spanish and he spoke to us in Spanish as well. He was so nice and sweet.

Heading back to Southern California from Northern California we stopped off at 11 pm for some food and to get out of the car and stretch from the long drive. This particular Denny's is hiring and is understaffed, in fact there is a notice to let customers know ahead of time. On shift during our visit was 1 server Mr. Usiel and 1 cook. Since there was an accident and road construction on the 5 SB freeway more and more customers were stopping into this Denny's. Mr. Usiel and the cook did an amazing job on the food. We ordered the double berry pancake breakfast served with 2 eggs, hash browns, one piece of bacon and one sausage, and an order of an all American grand slam breakfast with scrambled eggs well done and bacon crispy. Food came out fast, Mr. Usiel was very attentive and the cook did an awesome job on getting our order just right. They both worked as fast as they could under the stressful circumstances while more and more customers continued to come in for a bite to eat. Hats off to the cook on the double berry pancakes they were delicious!! I should've taken a picture of the blueberry pancakes with fresh cut strawberries, bananas and blueberries. These employees stepped up their game and I will definitely make a stop there the next time I am on the 5 freeway. Also the restaurant was clean and bathrooms were clean and stocked.

Guided by cris, courtesy service and good eating. the man has worked hard! I'd like to eat here again. we were a 4s family who broke the journey between san fran and la with a stopover. a good experience.

We had breakfast in this restaurant and hospitable is one of the worst we have experienced. we have asked for water several times, but never get the water. Coffee refill was also not available. the food was decent, but had to wait a lot of time to take the order. overall I would not recommend this restaurant.
