My Culture Cafe - Cluain Meala

The staff here were lovely and helpful. Whatever we asked for jug of water, mayo+tomato sauce was provided promptly. The food quality was average: our burgers were both med/well done. We were asked, when ordering, about our cooking preference but did not get as ordered. My friend wanted very well done while I asked for rare. I can appreciate that the store was an hour from closing but would suggest that there's no point in offering a level of individual cooking if it is not possible to follow through with the request. My other friends Falafafel Pita looked and tasted delicious. My burger was dry and a little cardboardy. The chips were fine and the brioche bun was fresh, lightly toasted and tasty. The salad on the bun was fresh. The food took about 25 minutes to arrive despite the restaurant not being busy. I would probably return for a quick lunchtime visit for something pre prepared like soup and brown bread/roll. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent fresh food, they provide a wide range of sandwiches and cooked dishes. Their Irish breakfast is as good as is available in town.

Lovely for, great service, comfortable place to eat. Great variety on the menu. Play area for children. Loads of seating upstairs too.

Just had coffee no mince pies it's December you have to have mince pies. Young girl serving was a breath of fresh air very friendly.

My first visit of this restaurant was a great experience, I ordered a pizza and it was really good. However since that first visit I can’t help but notice that the standards and service have slipped here and it’s a shame. This restaurant seems to be split in two in terms of staff and owners. For example if you visit here during the morning. There’s a different menu and staff, but come back in the afternoon and the menu and staff have changed. The food quality has dropped dramatically and the offerings aren’t of a very difficult skill level. I was with my partner and event though I had ordered mine at the same time as her, I was handed my food first while my partner had to wait about another 15 mins. I’d like to be able to write a glowing review of this place but I’ve been here a few times and now I’ve stopped completely. It’s a shame.
