Contribuiți la feedbackAbsolutely fantastic! I had been there years before with the prior ownership but there is a new owner, a former employee. Food was fantastic, margarita was wonderful, chips and salsa were excellent and service was outstanding!!! Kodi, our waitress (I hope I spelled it right) was amazing. She was friendly, had a sense of humor, and just gave us great service. The bus boy also was fantastic…..friendly and did a great job. We thought one of the gentleman who thanked us when we left might have been the owner. It was. We told him we needed to talk to him about his waitress and bus boy and he was concerned Lol. We told him how wonderful everything was, especially his employees. He was very friendly and appreciative. I’m leaving this because this is the type of establishment that needs to be supported, especially with the high overhead today. Can’t say enough. Unfortunately we’ve left Clovis for AZ but every time we’re back, this will be on the “to do” list!!
Ohhh so good! I wish I had ordered sooner! I got a to-go special added rice. This is real Mexican food, you'll love it to
While visiting family in Clovis, our niece recommended El Pueblito Mexican restaurant for a late lunch on a Friday. There was 10 adults and 2 toddlers in our family group. The server was very polite and accommodating to our large group, there was literally no wait time and we sat at the back of the restaurant. Just a warning, the food served in this restaurant is very 'Americanized ' as the tacos are not true Mexican tacos but there is shredded jack cheese on them. If you are vegetarian, the chef may get your order wrong (happened to two of our family members). The food is decent and the portion sizes are very large, our local family all ate the food and they liked it. If you are accustomed to authentic Mexican food, this may not be the spot for you. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly and accommodating in getting the right food back on the table for the vegetarian family members. We didn 't have to wait very long for our meals and the total tab including the servers tip was very reasonable considering our large group and the mess left behind by the little ones.
I was looking for a Mexican restaurant that had options made without pork or lard, due to the fact that I can't eat pork products. The nice person who answered the phone informed me that everything there is made with lard. I'm so thankful that I called before we went and that they were honest about how they prepare their food. Thanks again for your honesty.
I tried this place because I got a gift card and heard decent things about it. It's not the worst but defiantly not the best. It's is very very basic. To start the salsa is runny! Like tomato sauce with a little heat. They did refill the chips often. We each ordered the three item. I got the chicken taco, enchilada and chili verde burrito. Again wasn't bad but lack flavor. The only one who enjoyed their food was my daughter and her quesadilla. Good service but Sadly won't be going back.
