Taqueria El Molcajete - Cloverdale

The burrito “Mas Macho” is fantastic—perfect for two and really satisfies your hunger. It’s surprisingly well-balanced and doesn’t feel heavy unless you finish it all by yourself! The staff is amazing, too.

Very good Mexican food. Quick, and attentive waiters. I had a pick up order, that they quickly prepared. Chips and salsa that came with the order, were delicious. I saw a new menu item that I had never seen before, called a Gringa . The premise is, pineapple and marinated pork combination, and the 'dish ' is a carved out half pineapple! It was a beautiful display to say the least. I love pineapple, so I decided to try it. Ironically, the only thing from making this a perfect dish... was it needed more pineapple mixed with the pork.

My friend and I were looking for a place to have lunch and she looked up restaurants near our location and this came up. I had the shrimp fajitas and was extremely satisfied. Great portion for the price. She had the asada fajitas and a mango margarita and we walked away full and very happy. Definitely will try and stop here again.

Delicious! The food and service were great. The folks working there were really nice. Burritos were big enough to be both lunch and dinner. Definitely worth a try!

The food here is incredibly authentic and bursting with flavor, while the staff are extremely friendly. Additionally, the prices are fantastic given the generous portion sizes. I tried the Menudo, and it was hearty and flavorful—not just broth. The location is also excellent, situated at the northern end of wine country.
