The most cosy comfortable inn around what a find! Great food and drink and the rooms are just divine get a river view and you can be sat there all day it’s bliss Rooms: So comfy and peaceful stocked with everything you could possibly need great bed and pillows and just the sound of the river and wildlife outside Rooms: 5 Service: 5

Really good for family party. Excellent facilities and good service. Food very good but someone had upended salt pot into mash which was a shame and should have been spotted in kitchen. Shame because rest of the meal was well cooked and beautiful presentation. Drinks good if service and clear up a bit slow. Would recommend back room with glorious view over the river . Service: 4

This is our second visit to the Spread Eagle at Sawley. We loved it the first time and it was equally as good this time. Fabulous food and very comfortable rooms. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and professionally. Would recommend it to anyone.
