Contribuiți la feedbackWe went for the Sunday dinner. Everything they gave us was 10/10. Bread and butter pudding was unreal. We liked it so much I’ve booked it for my mums birthday in 2 weeks to show them. I think this might be my new favourite. It’s dog friendly also.
Live 40 miles away but I had heard about the food here from top gastropubs in the UK. It did not disappoint. We had the winter blues menu and it was excellent value at 35 a head. The curried cod I had was beautiful and with cheeseboard to finish was ideal. Service excellent. We are going back in Easter to try the tasting menu. What a lovely place and worth the drive to.
Absolutely faultless Sunday lunch! The service was excellent professional, efficient and fiendly. The flavours and the quality of the food were outstanding. We stopped over in the Partridge room which was stunning (and dog friendly . It had everything we needed (including a delicious homemade carrot cake waiting for us on check in! . To top it all off, breakfast was the best we have had anywhere. Overall a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to return.
Tucked away and I mean tucked away in the village is the Freemasons (nightmare to find at night) renowned locally for its fine fair we decided to give it a go. It was excellent to say the least and the service and timing between courses was impeccable. Highly recommend this gastro pub not a burger in sight it was a fine dining experience ..spot on
Friday lunch! Vicki colleagues looked after us wonderfully! The food is wonderful: top quality, great value, ace surroundings. 6 or 7 courses couple of beers, G T, wine circa £150! We love this place so much we ration ourselves to around 4 visits a year to keep it the special treat element but we understand frequent patronage!
