Wise Guys Grill - Clinton Township

I work in the Clinton Township area once or twice a month and am always on the lookout for affordable dining options. I came across this hidden gem on Yelp and have been hooked ever since! The bar and grill has daily specials that I make sure to take advantage of each time I visit. My go-to orders are the Wiseguy wings (priced at 0.50 per wing on Saturdays and Sundays) and the coney dog (priced at 0.99 each on weekends). They even offer complimentary popcorn when you walk in. I prefer the bone-in wings with buffalo sauce on the side to tame the heat, and the ranch dressing helps to cool things down. The coney dog is delicious, made with national coney chili sauce. They also have great drink specials that I love. I am absolutely obsessed with this place and will return every chance I get. Unfortunately, my favorite hangout recently closed due to a kitchen fire, but I hope they will reopen soon.

The food at this restaurant is all delicious, from the pizza to the quesadillas. The portions are huge and the service is great. The drinks are average priced and they have a patio where you can sit. I would give it 4 stars, but on the weekends, all the big tables are reserved and a group can't hang out unless you have a reservation.

While I have pretty much only had the pizza here, I feel as though their pizza is fantastic enough to write a review for this restaurant since it is SO GOOD! I love that they offer unique specialty pizzas like Coney dog, Reuben, and spinach and artichoke since I love unique pizzas, but even without that, their crust is so good. I prefer a square pizza to a round one, but their dough on the round is the best ever. We also get their breadsticks that come with an asiago cheese dip which you must try! They also have a huge nacho platter that is great for sharing. And we always have friendly service when we are there, which is a plus. I just wish I lived closer so it would be a weekly stop for me.

Wiseguys is more than just a bar - it's a fantastic combination of delicious food, excellent service, and great drinks. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive, and the menu offers a wide variety of options, from classic bar staples like wings and nachos to more unique dishes like Cajun fish tacos and tater tot platters. They also have a great selection of craft beers, many of which are from Michigan. And the best part? The prices are unbeatable. Wiseguys has quickly become our family's favorite spot, and we can't believe we hadn't tried it sooner, despite living nearby for over twenty years. We're so happy we finally gave Wiseguys a chance.

When it comes to bars grills, please note: this establishment is exceptional! First and foremost, this place is all about the family, it is a family establishment and they treat their patrons as of you're one of them. They have specials daily.. I've been around the block a few times, never have I had such great food on a consistent basis. Whether this bar is packed or on the slower side, the staff will always meet your needs. I just have to add, the tator tot skillets are one in a million, you'll never have anything like it! Wise Guys has a great atmosphere, great owner and staff and has a DJ that will actually listen to your requests. If you are in the area, this is a place to come and enjoy yourself with friends or family. A+ period.
