We had dinner and walked the mall a bit and actually ended up going back for dessert and a drink and our server, Dakota was superb also. An amazing night with awesome waitstaff. Jeanette Oliva
So surprised at the star reviews. Had our first experience at Coopers Hawk Clinton Twp and was not impressed. We came in tonight 7/10 and sat down with my husband. Waitress was awesome in the beginning bringing us our waters and taking our orders. After she brought our salad and soup, that was is. Didn?t see her again until the bill came. We ordered a side Caesar salad and chicken noodle soup. My husbands side salad was a full size ? and my water with lemon for my husband and I was empty. The waitress has not come back to refill and the chef brought out our meals. My chicken piccata was whatever, the chicken was super chewy, no big deal. My husbands chicken bacon sandwich without avocado was not good. Biggest complaint was there was a half piece of one strip of bacon on my husbands sandwich and the chicken piece was very small. When he wanted to say something to the waitress, the waitress was assisting the booth next to us, looked over at my husband and walked away. We assume she saw us complaining and never came back. Our waters will still empty at this point. She came back when we were waiting around for our bill, she asked if we wanted dessert and after we kindly replied no, she quickly brought the bill over. On a 63, based on the service from the waitress, I?m sad to say we tipped her 10%. In the words of Kim K ? It seems like nobody wants to work these days.? Doing the bare minimum will not get you 18 or 20 percent nor are we obligated to pay you for this type of service on a slow Sunday night. I?m sad to say that Emily may have been one of the worst waitresses I?ve had at a chain restaurant. Please make sure you check in on your customers. I?m certainly no waitress, but we?re the people that put in your pocket based on your service. This restaurant completely disappointed us. Hopefully management reads this and retrains it?s service staff.
Ty to my beautiful daughter for taking me out for Mother?s Day to this fantastic restaurant!! My goodness!! The best service from Ben who not only was spot-on serving us wine tasters but had us laughing like we knew him forever; Brian was such a gracious manager; the servers careful with handling the hot plates. Atmosphere was warm and friendly. Food was fantastic; desserts delectable and cappuccino fabulous. Planning a trip to visit their winery in Chicago. THEY MAKE THIER OWN WINE!!!
First, we called and were told no more reservations available and it's full but the bar was open so went and ate at the bar. 1 hr and 30 minutes we're done eating and the place is still empty. So, whatever happened to all those reserved tables? As for the food, my Fillet Mignon was well done instead of medium-well as I ordered and it's a little bland. Oh well.... I can't really recommend this place based in this experience.
The food here is EXCELLENT! Chef made meals and everything is made from scratch! Couldn't have been more pleased with the food! The service is an entirely different matter. No one greeted us so we kind of stood around for a bit. When a girl walked up to what looked like a hostess desk we thought, I guess this must be the hostess, so we informed her that we were indeed there and wondered if we might get a table. Our server was friendly and somewhat helpful but not very attentive. Also, he kept his face covered the entire time so we never really saw him, and couldn't understand everything he was saying. Awkward. To be fair, we did encounter a couple of employees who were very friendly and helpful. Too bad they're not all like that. This place would be a five star if they could raise the quality of service to match the level of the food.
