Taste Of India - Clinton

A taste of India was a palate awakening that I needed in my life! I wanted to try some new food and I was not disappointed! Everyone there were so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help my friend and I pick foods that would be right forus while teaching us a little about the culture! I recommend the vegetable samosas and the chicken curry and the butter chicken!Omg! And the naan was amazing too! They found a new customer in me!

They always treat us so well here, and the food is great! If you have time, stop by the store next door. They have loads of wonderful Indian and other style foods. This place is definitely on our repeat visit list!

My experience at the restaurant was fairly average. The paneer tikka masala (spicy) was good, although there wasn't a lot of paneer, and the pieces were cut into small cubes. The rice was just okay and lacked flavor. I wasn't a fan of the garlic naan either, as it was quite dry.

I ordered goat biryani today, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The dish was simply a mix of rice and goat without any flavor. They also didn't provide any yogurt or napkins.

For the lunch special, you can select two entrees from a list. I picked Tandoori Chicken and Butter Chicken. The meal came with a salad, yogurt dressing, basmati rice, a dessert ball, and a generous serving of naan. The Tandoori Chicken was fantastic; the flavor was incredible. I liked the Butter Chicken, but it didn’t particularly stand out to me. The naan was delicious, though there was so much that I couldn’t finish it all. Would I come back? Definitely! The food was excellent, and the price was very reasonable given the large portion size on my plate.
