Mirak - Cliffside Park

Everything was incredibly fresh and expertly packaged. I truly believe it’s worth every penny. It’s rare to find local sushi places with fish this fresh. I highly recommend trying the Spicy Salmon roll, or you can include it in your platter. They don’t mix it with fillers like Tempura or Panko flakes—this is the real deal. The fresh salmon is cut into perfectly sized small pieces, and they add scallions and a delicious spicy pepper. I think they even include a hint of sesame oil. It was outstanding! If I could, I would eat this every day.

This is my second time ordering from Mirak. This time I got the regular sushi along with one special roll and ikura tamago. The food is good, though a bit on the expensive side. It would be nice if they included a packet of soy sauce and chopsticks, as well as a menu in the order.

I've been ordering from this place quite regularly since it opened, but the recent price increase is outrageous. I won't be placing any more orders until the prices go back down.
