Great food and friendly service! I often have takeaway and nothing is too much trouble! Well worth a visit!

We were there celebrating a family birthday. There were 40 of us having lunch.i think we didn't have menu cuisine. Entree of dipping breads, celery and carrot sticks with dips. Main meal of chicken skewers, meat balls, ckicken pieces, salads and the most yummy pork belly. It was tender and juicy with crisp, crackling skin. Staff were fairly attentive. Room was very warm, don't know what it would be like in a Queensland summer, and noisy.

Perhaps I'm just getting old and irritable. Or perhaps it's simply a case of me having less patience with poorly trained wait staff. No matter. I was unimpressed with the effort put up by the wait staff. Our bottle of wine (admittedly an older bottle with a cork) sat unopened despite more than one request for two glasses and some help. I ended up picking up said bottle and actually waving it at the waitress. Bad manners on my behalf? Yup. But isn't it the job of the wait staff to deal quietly and efficiently with such things? End result? The corkscrew was dropped on the table along with two glasses. Apparently DIY applies to opening the guests' wine bottles.The meals were delivered quite promptly. Considering how few tables were occupied that shouldn't be a surprise. My meal was the Greek Lamb Salad. Not too bad, but how many lettuce leaves can you fit on a plate?Coffee was hot and aromatic. Pretty good there.Would I recommend this restaurant to friends? Nope. Not in its current state. Raby Harbour is dripping with restaurants and cafes. There's so much competition. Theola really needs to lift its standards several notches if it wants to survive.

We sat down for lunch the waitress was very charming the atmosphere at Raby Bay is great. We ordered 2 glasses of wine these were excellent seating was comfortable this is where it all changes. The chicken was so tough it could not be cut and was sent back and exchanged for Barramundi.The fish was good the salad was a mix of lettuce and sliced onion. On paying I mentioned that we had to send a meal back the cashier could not have cared less offered no apology and immediately upped the bill by $2 extra for the fish. Will I recommend you eat here NO.There is a great choice at Raby Bay
