Contribuiți la feedbackThe service at this restaurant was excellent, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our experience. The salad we ordered appeared to be old and pre-made, a common occurrence in the bayside area where quality food can be hard to come by. Both my husband and I ordered chicken schnitzels, which were large but unfortunately overcooked and prepared with old oil. The side sauce, supposedly a pepper sauce, was also saturated with old oil and lacked any peppercorn flavor. The coffee we ordered was weak and watery. After eating at this establishment, we both experienced stomach cramps and felt unwell. It seems that the chef is the one letting down this restaurant, not the front-of-house staff.
We stopped at this restaurant today, which has a great view overlooking the marina at Raby Bay. The coffee we had was just average, but the carrot cake we shared was absolutely delicious. It was moist, perfectly spiced, and the cream cheese icing with lemon added a great touch to the cake. It's a shame that the coffee didn't meet our expectations.
The menu is consistently good with delicious specials. I particularly enjoy the curry, while my husband always has to have one of their tasty desserts. It's definitely worth the price, with great coffee to boot. Be sure to inquire about the curry options, as the chef is Sri Lankan and usually has a couple of curry dishes available.
Went to lunch with my husband. Ordered Calamari Bowl - light meal. Tasteless calamari cooked in sour tasting oil. Chips cooked in sour tasting oil. Made me feel quite unwell all afternoon even though I only ate a small portion. I will never eat here again.
Great family restaurant, food delicious, frequently go there for breakfast but dinner is lovely also. Chef happy to accommodate special requests,
