Yumvillage Cleveland

Parking is on the street and very busy at lunchtime (which means parking authority is out and about). The place didn’t look very clean and the items I wanted wasn’t available at the time of opening. When I finally did eat my food the rice was crunchy. While the food was plentiful, as a former cook and someone who is Ghanaian, I expected the food to be better. It’s a combination of Jamaican and African but it could be better for the price I paid.

My whole experience was a 10/10 the person that made my food was very nice and understanding to the fact I never had this type of food and explained what everything was and it tasted. When I got my food and got in my car that food had no chance of survival lol all the flavors hit once and it was

The food has so much flavor and you get a ton! The person working there was so friendly and let me taste things before ordering since I was new to this food. I’m a fan of Oxtail for life now! The food is extremely rich. Go hungry!

Yum Village is the perfect name. A beautiful fusion of African and Caribbean food experiences. Staff is friendly, portions are generous all for a great value.

Yum Village goes sooooo hard! We talking about food that makes your taste buds dance! Jerk chicken is my go to and the plantains mmmmmmm.
