Valerio’s - Cleveland

This restaurant embodies Little Italy in every way! A small-ish, more intimate dining area with absolutely phenomenal food from start to finish. We had the roasted duck appetizer, squid ink pasta with mussels, tortellin, and tiramasu to close out the meal. Every single dish was 5-stars standalone. A great experience!

Great authentic Italian food Family owned, very nice and friendly staff And by the way. They are open every day from 5 pm except Monday.

Valerio’s in Cleveland’s Little Italy never fails to impress!! They have a romantic environment, bar and many times live piano. The service and food are outstanding. Many unique and authentic Italian specialties are offered with quality ingredients and attention to detail that put their food over-the-top! Valerio is usually there ensuring his guests are more than satisfied! Go there and see for yourself, highly recommend the pork shank with cheese risotto (pictured below)

Both the orrechiete and gnocchi pastas were fantastic, they lasted no more than 10 minutes. The sausage in the red sauce was the best part of the meal, I'll probably get a meat dish when I come back. The tiramisu tasted great, although the texture was weird. Easy 5 stars.

Everyone has trouble these days, but the wait for service was way beyond that. Sat at the bar, 20 minutes to just get acknowledged but told sorry I'm not the bartender.. okay 20 minutes later water and luckily a glass of wine. Wouldn't be able to order food for some time so I can only imagine how long it would take to get served once ordered. We drank our wine and left.
