Dinner before a show. The only comment I would like to emphasize is that the menu that shows on the open table, is NOT the menu for the restaurant that we had dinner. Since viewing the menu ahead of time to see if it has something you’d like to try, it’s very disappointing to find out that it’s a totally different menu. I would have appreciated seeing the correct menu.

Great service, great food, wonderful staff and would recommend to everyone

Our food was good. But lots of glitches with the service, perhaps due to short or inexperienced staff. Appetizer arrived after main course, main course salad in a overflowing small bowl with added chicken balanced on top, impossible to dress and request for plate unanswered etc. But to their credit, the bill was adjusted satisfactorily.

Food is always great there, but we sat for 20 min before anyone even took our order. We ordered an appetizer which took another 30 min to arrive while we watched people who arrived after us being served their dinners already. Our dinner arrived less than 10 minutes later, so we weren't able to finish the appetizer. We had only 20 minutes to eat before we had to leave to see the show at Playhouse Square. The food is delicious and the waiters friendly, but we kept being overlooked while they paid lots of attention to the tables on either side of us and in other parts of the dining room. I would only recommend this restaurant to someone who planes to spend two hours eating dinner. The service was very slow both times we've eaten here. The previous time, dinner service was fine, but it took 20 minutes to get our check after our dishes had been cleared away.

Fried walleye dinner and grilled chicken sandwich were very good. Bananas Foster HUGE! Enough for 4 people easily! Service started out great, we were only guests , but by end of dinner, service got spotty as restaurant filled and took to long to get table cleared etc. but like everyone else, my guess is staff shortages. But our waiter had a great personality. Would probably return.
