The place is listed as seafood restaurant, but there is a lot to choose for meat eaters and vegetarians. Food is extremely affordable and full of vibrating aromas. I'm back!
September 2022: I saw this building all the time when I was a student as Cleveland State University. But I never gave him the chance to prove himself. Well, years later, I was curious and had to give them a try. The restaurant is located on a relatively quiet NW corner of St. Clair and East 40th Street. The outside is decorated with bold hints asian influence, including the various statues from the Chinese zodiac. Inside the restaurant is spacious, clean and has many tables to maybe sit a party of 80 people. I ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls as an appetizer that immediately came out as 4 thumbs, Peefectly crispy rolls with a sweet, tangy diving sauce with some chilis in it. The pad Thai came later and was a delicious mixture of chicken, shrimp, noodles, green onions and chopped peanuts above. It was very good, but not the best I cost. I decided to wash it with a Jackfruit smoothie for dessert, which was good. Pros: Good food, fast and friendly service. Menu was well mounted and had Asian characters along with English subtitles and photo. It seems a kind of indexing system, but I didn't use it. Prices are appropriate for the amount of food given. There were many people who came to Pickup and Doordash, which is testimony to their service and culinary skills. Some people (Diverse Crowd) sat in groups to seemingly vice versa over dinner. Very welcoming atmosphere. Negative: I can't imagine anything.
As a person who never really liked sweet and sour chicken after I came to this restaurant, I eat it every day. The chicken was both crispy, but very tender. I thought all the dishes taste quite authentic. I'd probably go back here or order here!
It's been too long since I was in Siam Cafe in Cleveland. Jill and I had ; Bun Bo Huo Soup spicy beef soup with fresh bean sprouts (good, very good), Vietnamese Spring Rolls with chili oil diving sauce, death Mun Shrimp and Chicken Cakes with chili cucumber diving sauce that was good, but I would like it to craspier against the consistency of Cornbread plus Stir Fried Spicy Cabbage... Love this place for authentic Asian cuisine.
A very nice Vietnamese Restaurant with Beef, Chicken and Seafood dishes. Their Soups are wonderful. And, many to choose from. They also have a nice selection of Asian Beers. Excellent Service as well.
