Would not know if any good or not. Went out of our way to get there only to find it closed 2 and half hours early.
Worst pierogies ever. I grew up in a predominantly Ukrainian neighborhood. The ladies making them at the churches would have kicked the person crimping these out the door. VERY thick ropes of hard dough around edges and remaining rope end tucked under pierogy for another big blob of hard dough. Filling o.k. but all in all really bad.
Because we live nearly 90minutes away, I placed an order of pierogis on Saturday for us to pick up on Wednesday. Our order was completely botched. When I called the main store, manager/owner just shrugged off my complaint.Very disappointed.
We visited the market on our way home from a weekend in the city, and this time we remembered to bring a cooler! I was drawn to these pierogies, and the lady at the stand was incredibly friendly. I ordered six loaded baked potato pierogies, but she only had two available. Instead, she offered me those two plus an extra six bacon and cheese pierogies, and even included some potato pancakes I hadn’t ordered! She also took the time to explain the best way to heat and enjoy them.
