Malt Shop - Cleveland

The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of this deli. Considering the building is old with a dated nostalgic feel, I appreciated how clean everything was. We were inspired to try this deli from a previous review. I love a good Rueben sandwich. Once I saw that that the fries were homemade and the corned beef was cooked in house, I was sold. I do honestly believe that this is the best Rueben I have ever had. The meat was pilled high, flavorful and juicy, and the sauerkraut was not overbearing. The thin rye bread was nicely toasted and kept its crisp to the last bite. The fresh Cajun fries were a perfect sandwich companion. We are not from this area and are saddened that we will not be able to make this a frequent stop, but we are grateful we got to experience and enjoy this nostalgic deli. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and did I mention the service with a genuine smile?

The corned beef sandwich was outstanding! We also ordered the classic Italian sandwich which was also excellent. The corned beef is made in house and was tender, flavorful and juicy. Served on rye which was a perfect choice. The staff was all very nice. Next time I'm in Cleveland I'm stopping by for a sandwich. It's also very close to the Rock N Roll museum

We stopped in for a quick bite after the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame. Quiet, quick service and amazing food! Must try the Cole slaw and Potato salad although the fresh cut fries were super appealing as well. Definitely great overall

Hands done, one of the best meals we had in Cleveland. I'm sad we didn't find this place earlier or we would have been back more than once. Service was great and the food was on point.

Yelp did not disappoint! Such a cute place with great food and an incredibly polite staff. It's always nice to find one of these special places that's off the beaten tourist path. My wife loved her tuna melt as much as I enjoyed my turkey melt. And we were amazed by our daughter's devour the entire turkey club. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere!
