I am in love. The food is amazing and you can taste every fresh ingredient. Nothing, including cocktails, is made from a mix. Beautiful flavors and atmosphere. The staff are simply amazing! GO GO GO GO !

First time here and we would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place for amazing food. It was all very fresh ingredients and delicious seasonings. The menu has a bit of everything for this type of food, so it can satisfy all diners. Also got a strawberry margarita that was great and made with real, fresh strawberries.

I've tried this place a couple of times and it's pretty solid! We got two arepas with maduros and yuca fries for take out. Loved the maduros but wished there had been a bit more. Yuca fries were plentiful but lacked a little bit of flavor. My fiancé had the la gringa and he loved his. I had the la sucia without cheese and it was pretty good. Overall good takeout experience. Wish there was just a bit more flavor but overall solid choice!

I ordered a couple of items for takeout today at Barroco. I got Sancocho De Doña Liliana, Ropa Vieja arepa, la sucia arepa and beef empanadas with fried yucca and Madurai as the sides. I really love everything I got. However, I found the arepas to be a bit mushy and floury. The fillings were great just I don't think they went well with the arepas. The soup was absolutely delicious, a bit salty but went perfectly well with the rice. Moreover, I have to say that the fried yucca they have is one of the best fried yucca I ever had. They just knew how to pick the right yucca, or I was there on a right day. I definitely would come back again and get other dishes but probably not the arepas.

I understand why they add 18% gratuity...only one server on staff and they didn't write anything down and had to come back to verify order because they forgot. Then the cook or manager brought out the food one at a time...mind you we only had three people in our dinner
